Posting End Date: Work Place Flexibility: Onsite Legal Entity: Entergy Arkansas, LLC: This position can be filled as a Distribution Designer I, II, III, or Sr depending upon the candidate’s experience. JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE: Responsible for meeting with customers to determine electric needs and requirements. Design jobs to install, replace, or remove distribution facilities to support customer requests, reliability projects, or infrastructure improvement. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: - Primary responsibility will be to manage multiple distribution projects for new residential and commercial businesses. Includes meeting with customers to determine their service needs, design of overhead and underground line extensions, estimating costs, preparing construction drawings and coordinate construction commits. - Coordinate and lead pre-design and pre-construction meetings with internal and external stakeholders. - Perform engineering calculations to aid in planning and corrective measure projects (i.e., load studies, revenue justification, fault current, voltage drop, etc.). - Provide leadership and technical support to local operations and contract compliance with regards to distribution d...
