Job Title: Modeling and Simulation Engineer Job Category: Science: Time Type: Full time: Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular: Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US: - * * The Opportunity: We are seeking a Modeling and Simulation (M&S) subject matter expert and small team leader to assist simulation development for the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC) through formulating, analyzing, executing, and delivering M&S studies to answer customer questions. Most of these studies will be performed through AFSIM, while others could employ ITASE, ODESSA, Eco-System, or others. You will take requests from external customers, join the government in the conversation while understanding what questions need to be asked to initially map and scope the project and chart a course towards answering the request. This will require breaking the given scenario into pieces by working backwards from the expected deliverable, map the project, and assign personnel around them to work different pieces in parallel, often taking on the toughest and most complex components themselves.
