Job description

Job Summary The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for the application of payments and posting of credit/debit memos. This position is also responsible for monitoring and analyzing the accounts receivable aging and related customer balances for effective resolution of the company’s outstanding accounts. Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions: - Cash application and resolution of unapplied cash. Set up customer credit limits as directed by the Accounts Receivable Supervisor - Issue credit and debit memos - Monitor customer accounts receivable and aging balances - Contact customers for payment - Provide recommendations to Accounts Receivable Supervisor regarding accounts to be turned over to collections - Process warranty credits and Cirrus Bucks - Review and process customer refunds - Review customer deposits - Evaluate and make appropriate improvements to internal accounting processes ensuring that practices are in line with the overall goals of the organization - Reconcile customer statements - Additional duties as requested, directed or assigned Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function sati...
