Summer Internship - Security Engineering

Job description

As a Security Engineering Intern, you will support the design, implementation, and maintenance of security systems and tooling across our infrastructure. The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field and has a foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles. This role offers hands-on experience working alongside senior security engineers, contributing to real-world security projects while developing practical skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Primary Duties: - Assist with the deployment and configuration of security tools, including SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability management platforms and AI detection and monitoring tools to enable AI detection and monitoring - Support infrastructure security efforts such as architecture reviews and threat modeling for new and existing services. - Help integrate security tooling across cloud environments to improve visibility and protection. - Collaborate with the security engineering team to automate security processes using scripting languages such as Python or Bash. - Participate in security assessments and contribute to vulnerability management activities. -...
