Staff Software Engineer - Platform

Job description

The Mission As a Staff Software Engineer (Backend) on the Platform team, you will play a critical role building and operating cloud-native backend and platform infrastructure that is scalable, secure, and reliable by designing, implementing, and evolving our backend systems, CI/CD automation, and cloud infrastructure. You will operate with broad technical ownership across multiple domains, driving initiatives end-to-end from architecture design through production deployment. The Team + Role: You will lead backend projects on a team of 5 (without direct reports), influence architectural direction, and partner closely with cross-functional peers to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient systems. You will drive meaningful technical outcomes across CI/CD, automation, and service operations, partnering closely with product and engineering teams to ensure teams can ship confidently.You will support the backend platform to design, implement, and optimize AWS-based infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
