Recovery 1, a Waste Connections company, is seeking a skilled and dependable Preventative Maintenance Technician to support our tractor and trailer fleet in Fife, Washington. This role is ideal for experienced PM techs who take pride in quality workmanship, safety, and maintaining a clean, professional shop environment. Technicians in this position play a critical role in keeping our equipment safe, compliant, and ready to run. Schedule: - Monday–Friday | 3 PM – 11:30 PM - Overtime: 3–10 hours/week on average Pay: - Hourly Pay: $29.00 - $30.25/hr. - Shift Differential: +$1.50/hour - CDL Premium: +$1.00/hour for CDL holders - Tool Allowance: $125/month Responsibilities: - Perform preventative maintenance services on tractors, trailers, and heavy-duty refuse equipment - Conduct thorough inspections and identify maintenance issues before they become major repairs - Complete services and DVIR-related tasks accurately and within set timelines - Assist mechanics with basic repairs and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues - Ensure equipment meets all DOT, OSHA, and manufacturer standards - Use fleet maintenance software to complete and document work orders - Maintain a clean, organized, a...
