Job description

Description The Shop Technician is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of lift trucks and material handling equipment. This role performs planned maintenance, engine tune-ups, and major mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and powertrain repairs with minimal supervision. The technician ensures equipment operates safely and efficiently, accurately documents service work using mobile applications, and coordinates with parts departments to complete repairs. Additional responsibilities include mentoring apprentice mechanics, delivering excellent customer service, following safety and company policies, and managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Requirements: Job Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all makes of lift trucks and components. - Perform all assigned Planned Maintenance (PM) on customer and internal lift trucks. - Perform proper PM’s and engine tune-ups on most makes of equipment without supervision in a timely manner. - Assist with training/mentoring apprentice mechanics through on-the-job training. - Follow all safety procedures in performing work as well as company policies. - Properly identify...
