The Position Based in the Southern suburbs, your role as a Kitchenhand is more than just preparing meals, it’s about bringing warmth and care to our residents through food. By keeping the kitchen organized and supporting meal preparation, you’ll help create moments of comfort and joy that truly makes it feel like home. This is a permanent part-time role offering up to 40 hours per fortnight for PM shifts. Key responsibilities: - Prepare and plate food, serve and clear away meals in line with food preparation schedules. - Maintain the food preparation and serving areas to state hygiene standards. - Maintain appropriate resident interactions in line with the organizational values. - Consider resident lifestyles and personal choice. - Maintain effective interpersonal relationships with others. - Collect all temperature and cleaning records for the week and place in managers basket for checking and signing. - Record any dietary changes on master print out. - Check on stock requirements, e.g. bread, milk, OJ, yoghurt and change as necessary. - As required replenish shopping supplies which are specific and not currently available from usual supplier.
