Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Relief Accountant to provide support to our accounting team on a casual basis. The primary responsibility will be managing VLTs and handling daily cash transactions. This role requires approximately 8 hours per pay period, with additional hours to cover during the Hotel Accountant's scheduled vacations and time off. Qualifications: - Reconciliation of daily accounting records while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, procedures, and internal control. - Counting cash and preparing deposits. - Count and reconcile Video Lottery Terminal (VLT) revenues in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements. - Ensure accuracy in VLT cash handling and reporting, and promptly identify and resolve discrepancies. - Business or Accounting Certificate or Diploma. - Previous cash handling experience. - Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills. - Experience with Microsoft Excel. - Possess a high attention to detail.
