Job description
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting office operations. This involves, but is not limited to, providing administrative support, related procedures, understanding and enforcing office policy, calendar management, scheduling appointments, greeting guests, and working with other departments. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Assists the Development staff with scheduling appointments and meetings, answering the phone, and tracking high priority items such as emails, meetings, etc. 2. Supports maintenance of their master calendar and scheduling. 3. Supports work to monitor inventory and orders office supplies and equipment when necessary. 4. Ability to articulate and defend the unique Christian educational mission and vision of Liberty University and its subsidiaries to a wide variety of individuals and groups. 5. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS: 1. High School Diploma. 2. Excellent and detail oriented communication and organizational skills. 3. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook 4. Detail oriented and possess strong organizational and communications skills. 5. 2+ years of experien...
