Overview Hospitalist – Community Health Partners / OSU Physicians Hocking Valley Community Hospital | Logan, Ohio Community Health Partners is seeking a Hospitalist to join the inpatient team at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, a community-based facility serving a tourist and community patient population in southeast Ohio. Position Highlights: - Schedule: 7 on / 7 off with 24 hour responsibility - Typical workload averages 8–10 hours per day - Some weekend coverage required - Patient Volume: ~3 admissions per day - Beds: 16 total (med/surg, observation, swing) Staffing Ratios: - Med/Surg: 5:1 - SCU/ICU: 2:1 - Adult inpatient care including ICU coverage - Required procedures: intubation, central lines, and critical care Ideal Candidate: - Comfortable practicing in a rural hospital setting - Collaborative, respectful of medical staff, and supportive of administration - Committed to high-quality, community-focused care Education & Training: - MD or DO from an accredited medical school - Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency Licensure & Certification: - Eligible for or holding an active Ohio medical license - Board certified or board...
