As a Nurse Practitioner - Contrast Coverage, you will be responsible for screening and preparing patients for their procedure and administering and monitoring medications for patients in an outpatient setting. Participates in all aspects of patient care as indicated. This position is per diem, shifts will vary. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (85%) Patient Care (10%) Administrative Duties (5%) Performs related work as assigned - Explains procedures and treatments to patient to gain cooperation, understanding, and reduce apprehension - Screens patient prior to procedure for any precautions or contra-indications and for MRI safety - Reviews patient history and complete appropriate consents forms as needed - Administers prescribed medications and treatments (i.e. contrasts) in accordance with approved standards and regulati...
