Job description

The System Administrator II monitors system hardware, network, and infrastructure software performance to solve problems and suggest improvements. This role is responsible for managing authorized access to system resources and leveraging technical expertise in networking (TCP/IP), server administration, and VOIP systems to ensure high availability and security across the organization’s digital environment. Responsibilities and Duties: Provide advice and assistance to users to resolve complex queries and ensure that application and website capabilities are well understood by the business; may manage or provide escalation support for a help-desk team. Prioritize own workflow and ensure work—particularly regarding network stability and server uptime—is completed to required standards of productivity, quality, and timeliness. Research and suggest technical developments to improve the quality of the website, portal, software, and supporting infrastructure (including VOIP and on-prem systems) to better meet user needs.
