Job Details Trauma Data Analyst (FT, Days) - Jefferson Torresdale Job Description: Under the supervision of the Trauma Program Director and Nurse Registrars establishes and maintains efficient operations of the Trauma Registry to meet the Pennsylvania Trauma System Foundation and other data collection and other reporting requirements. They will provide additional support to the Trauma Program though other delegated coordination and secretarial responsibilities. Ensures patient/customer satisfaction by respecting confidentiality and privacy, treating with courtesy, dignity and respect; considering the needs of everyone; and responding to customer concerns in a timely manner. - Reviews the medical record both concurrently and retrospectively to abstract information for inclusion in the Trauma Registry - Identifies trauma cases, using established criteria by retrieving appropriate information for inclusion into trauma registry. - Maintains accurate records to ensure complete and organized trauma database. - Abstracts data concurrently for the National Trauma Bank and for the Trauma Quality Improvement Program (TQIP). - Completes the beginner Trauma Registry course within 1 year of hir...
