Food Safety Laboratory Technician

Job description

Position Summary The Lab Technician is responsible for processing a variety of laboratory samples in both Chemistry and Microbiology environments while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with established quality assurance and quality management system requirements. This role supports laboratory operations by performing, reporting, and verifying test results; maintaining required records and reference materials; and adhering to standard operating procedures. The Lab Technician actively participates in all areas of the lab, monitors processes for deviations from normal procedures, and promptly escalates issues to management to support food safety, regulatory compliance, and overall operational integrity.
