Status Full-Time Standard Hours per Week: 40 Job Posting Category: Advanced Practice Provider: Job Posting Description: Brief Overview: Physician Assistant, Plastic and Oral Surgery/Sedation to support its Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. This Physician Assistant will be responsible for seeing outpatient consults, providing IV conscious sedation, as well as first and second assisting in the OR. Key Responsibilities: Minimum Qualifications Education: Experience: - Administer IV conscious sedation, including IV placement, peri-, intra-and post-procedural assessment and monitoring of patients undergoing IV sedation in the office-based setting - Provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages and with all types of conditions - Elicit histories, perform examinations, order and interpret diagnostic studies, instruct and counsel patients about their diagnosis - Provide all aspects of pre-operative and post-operative care, as well as first or second assisting during surgery - Facilitate the appropriate referral of patients, consistent with his or her supervising physician’s scope of expertise and responsibility and delegated to him/her by the supervising physician - Working...
