About the team: The Process Excellence team sits within Sainsbury’s Operating Model team in the Strategy & Business Planning Division. Our mission is to increase business-wide value and productivity by simplifying, automating and reinventing the processes that sit behind how we serve customers and support colleagues. You’ll join a collaborative, cross-functional team that works at the heart of strategic programmes—partnering with colleagues across the business, as well as People and Technology, to improve ways of working and build sustainable capability in process management. More about the role: As a Process Excellence Manager, you’ll lead end-to-end process improvement work across Sainsbury’s. Day to day, you’ll partner with business teams to understand how work currently happens, map and analyse processes, identify value-adding and non-value-adding activity, and agree pragmatic improvements that support strategic outcomes and technology enablement. You’ll also help grow our process maturity—developing and embedding the process framework, supporting process governance, and enabling colleagues through training and coaching.
