Job Summary: Regulatory professional who possesses developed technical knowledge regarding rate design theory and practice in AEP's state jurisdictions or external state jurisdiction. Must possess electric utility experience, and knowledge of industry activity and outcomes regarding cost of service and rate design associated with new technologies and recovery strategies, as well as knowledge in the application of theory to perform detailed mathematical analysis and solve problems with limited guidance from higher level personnel. Developed working knowledge of state or federal regulations and standards, codes, concepts, systems, docket research and business processes relevant to work assignments. The ability to communicate and coordinate work across multiple organizations to address complex problems or perform analysis outside the AEP footprint to accomplish goals established by operating companies and corporate business units for innovative rate solutions for rate cases, recovery clauses, audits, compliance filings, policy matters, and/or other proceedings.
