Position Summary The Material Inspector interacts with customers while inspecting and grading materials delivered to the yard. This role may operate small equipment to help process and prepare materials for shipment. We are looking for an energetic, customer-focused individual who enjoys working with people and providing a positive, face-to-face experience for customers and truck drivers. This position works primarily outdoors, and we are happy to train the right person on our equipment and recycling. Schedule: - Monday - Saturday (5-Day: Rotating Schedule) - 1st Shift (Mid-morning Start) Responsibilities: - Sort, process and inventory material (Non-Ferrous Metals) by operating shears, balers, loaders and forklifts - Assist with purchasing various grades of recyclable materials from customers. - Support customers with the unloading of materials. - Assist with preparing, packing, and loading materials for shipment. - Sort and process materials in accorda...
