Front-End Developer (React / Headless / E-commerce)

Job description

We’re a small, experienced team responsible for the technology that underpins Bike Club - from the customer-facing website to the systems that power orders, subscriptions, and warehouse operations in the UK and Germany. We work across a modern, headless stack (React/Next.js, Shopify, Salesforce, and internal services), collaborating closely with product, UX, and operations to deliver real-world impact. We’re currently going through a significant design and UX evolution of our website - moving toward a more progressive, subscription-first experience that better reflects how we operate. This involves rethinking key journeys, improving conversion, and giving the team more flexibility to experiment and iterate quickly. We take a pragmatic, product-focused approach - balancing speed, quality, and maintainability - and are continuously evolving how we work, including selectively adopting AI-assisted tools where they genuinely improve delivery or insight. We are looking for someone comfortable thinking beyond implementation - contributing to product ideas and user outcomes.
