Position Description: The role of the Recreation Aide/Safety Coordinator is to contribute to a safe, supportive, and caring school community especially through the supervision of students during lunch and recess. Additionally, this role supports serving meals, parent communications, valet (student pick-up) and traffic supervision during After School hours. Hours: 9:00-5:30pm, Monday - Friday Responsibilities: - Supervise students during their lunch and recess and ensure that they are exhibiting behaviors consistent with Equitas values - Supervise students at other points throughout the school day as needed, such as transitions and restrooms - Maintain high expectations for student behavior and academic achievement - Actively participate in professional development aimed at refining school culture - Assist teachers during the school day with oversight and supervision of students - Follow policies and procedures for health, safety, and nutrition - Maintain open lines of communication with staff, families, and other stakeholders - Maintain consistent open...
