Job DetailsJob Location: Duffield - Duffield, VA 24244Position Type: Full Time Responsible for the installation, alteration and repair for electrical grounding systems, equipment, and fixtures according to VFP standards. Essential Job Functions: Interpret engineering drawings for various special grounding conditions as defined by the customer requirements from these drawings Remain familiar with all grounding procedures and standards as applied to VFP on requirements Operate according to all operating and safety procedures, all equipment used in the department to include power saws, power cutters, overhead cranes, and hand and air tools Must have the ability to climb ladders Maintain good housekeeping practices to include keeping the work area clean and neat and making sure the aisles are clear of equipment, cords, tow motors, etc. Prepare daily production sheets using accurate job numbers and production codes Cross-train with other jobs in the department and assist Grounder A when needed Install lighting fixtures Must have the ability to use basic hand and air tools Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Ability to communicate verbally and in written form Ability to perform basi...
