To maintain our role as a leader in the HVAC industry, we are seeking a talented, ambitious Cooling Lab Technician to join our team in Indianapolis. Key Responsibilities: System Setup: Set up and instrument split systems in psychrometric and/or sound & vibration rooms. Unit Modification: Modify and fabricate test units and test setups as directed by responsible engineers or master technicians. Testing & Monitoring: Monitor active tests approximately 60% of the time via specialized lab software and computer systems. Hands-on Labor: Perform mechanical installation and hands-on laboratory work approximately 40% of the time . Inventory & Execution: Aid in managing various inventories and fill in for senior project technicians as needed to execute critical test plans.
