Postdoctoral Clinical Psychology Fellow

Job description

The Department of Psychology at The New School for Social Research and Eugene Lang College, invites applicants for a postdoctoral fellowship position to begin July 1, 2026. The duration of the position is for one year with the possibility of additional years pending funding availability. The successful applicant (the Fellow) will support the Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program and the Concentration in Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counseling (CMHSAC) in the MA in General Psychology program through teaching, supervision and service to the program, as needed. The Fellow will also receive supervised hours conducting psychotherapy and assessments per their interests (e.g., to help toward licensure). The Fellow may also provide supervisory support to clinical psychology doctoral students at The Safran Center who are conducting psychotherapy and assessment. Interested Fellows will also receive support and guidance on their research and grant writing skills so that they are strongly competitive on the academic market.
