Working Student – Analog Regression & Test Automation
NXP Semiconductors · Eindhoven, North Brabant, THE NETHERLANDS
We are looking for a hands-on working student to help our Analog design team industrialize Analog regression testing.
Job description
We are looking for a hands-on working student to help our Analog design team industrialize Analog regression testing. You will use existing tool and further build and maintain scripts/flows that launch simulations across PVT/MC corners, manage “golden” references, and produce fast, trustworthy reports of key results whenever the design, models, or testbenches change. You’ll collaborate closely with designers to automate routine checks, reduce human error, and accelerate tape out-quality signoff. Your Responsibilities: - Use internal flows and further build scripted flow (e.g., Python/OCEAN/SKILL) to run batch Analog simulations (Spectre/Mica) across PVT corners and Monte Carlo. - Integrate with Cadence Virtuoso/ADE Assembler/XL (or equivalent) to programmatically netlist, launch, and harvest results. - Create and manage golden result baselines and thresholds for pass/fail and drift detection. - Work with Analog designers to capture specifications and limits for each testbench. - Document the flow (user guides, quick starts) and hand over to the team for long-term use. Your Profile: - Currently enrolled in BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Computer Engineering, or...
