POSITION SUMMARY: The Ambulatory Medical Director (AMD) works collaboratively and in partnership with the System Chief, Site Chief, System Administrative Director, Administrative Manager and Practice Managers to oversee the overall clinical operations of the OBGYN ambulatory practices. The AMD collaborates with the Site Chief, faculty, and BMC ambulatory administration to establish clinical policies and practices, maintain quality, patient access and experience, volume, and financial goals for the practice. The AMD will be evaluated by the Site Chair and System Administrative Director, using performance metrics established annually, with input from faculty, BMC operational and nursing leadership. This role comes with 20% protected administrative time.
