Essential functions of the position: - The Geologist is responsible for organizing, analyzing, and interpreting analytical data. - Plan and conduct investigations concerning hazard identification. - Conduct groundwater and surface water sampling activities. - Develop project field procedures. - Supervise sample preparation, collection, quality assurance, and delivery to the lab. - Provide technical support for Remedial Investigation soil sampling. - Collaborate on reporting results and detailing action plans based on field studies. - Make recommendations for necessary remedial actions. - Create project status reports. - Other duties as assigned.
