Solar Mechanic SUMMARY: Mortenson is currently seeking a Mechanic that will be responsible for performing all functions needed for an onsite mechanic and maintenance of all heavy equipment and general equipment. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Maintain shop equipment in a clean and orderly condition and report all deficiencies to supervisor - Perform inspections to ensure tested and repaired equipment meet performance specifications - Troubleshoot breakdowns of equipment to determine extent of damage or malfunctions - Follow given operating instructions to maintain shop equipment operations - Maintain supplies - Call for repairs - Perform regular preventive maintenance - Complete and file all appropriate reports and paperwork - Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels - All other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: *Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling over 50 lbs will be done with assistance of another team member or equipment. - Minimum one (1) year of experience - Basic computer knowledge/skill - Current driver’s license - ASE Certified preferred - Strong teamwork orientation; detail orientation; strong organizational skills - Act...
