Hospital Phlebotomist

Job description

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at Mount Hood Hospital in Gresham OR Work Schedule: Thursday - Saturday 1:00PM - 9:30PM; additional hours as needed Job Responsibilities: - Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups - Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. - Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner - Process billing information and collect payments when required - Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis - Maintain patient and specimen information logs - Provide superior customer service to all patients - Administrative and clerical duties as necessary - Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent: Preferred Qualifications: 1 or more years of phlebotomy experience 2 or more years of inpatient phlebotomy experience 6 or more months of direct patient care Additional Job Standards: At Labcorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives.
