Valiant Integrated Services has an exciting opportunity for a Submarine Tactical Oceanography (TACO) Senior Analyst supporting the Undersea Warfighting Development Center (UWDC) in Groton, CT. UWDC, under the direction of Commander, Submarine Forces (COMSUBFOR), leads undersea superiority and enables the combat lethality and desired effects generated from, and within, the Undersea Domain. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Valiant Integrated Services is an employer who hires in accordance with applicable state and federal law. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment in compliance with those laws. - Provide subject matter expertise and advice to the Commander of Submarine Forces and UWDC in all matters related to the tactical use of the ocean environment. - Recommend improvements in submarine sensing, operator and crew readiness training, tactics evolution, and data collection. - Liaise between warfighting and technical communities. - Travel approximately 5-10 occasions per year to CONUS and OCONUS locations. - Other duties as assigned.
