Senior Systems Software Engineer Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Senior Systems Software Engineer to join the P-8 Missions System Software Engineering team in Kent, Washington . The P-8 Mission Systems Software Operating Systems (OS) team needs a strong software architect on-site to lead a variety of products including the Virtual Integration Platform (VIP). The P-8 Poseidon program is the premier Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) platform for the US Navy and several international partners. Candidates will belong to an Agile software engineering development team that supports operating system, hardware, platform, and application development. This engineer shall lead, oversee, and direct design, development, analysis, and maintenance of software systems, possess applicable domain experience, and work with internal and external teams across the P-8 Program to support Operating Systems development.
