ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking a Industrial Hygienists/Safety Professional to join our team supporting the DOE's Y-12 National Security Complex ! This position is full-time and will be based out of Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Responsibilities: Track and trend safety data for use in programmatic improvement and field safety improvements. Perform project oversight inspections. Performing hazard assessments. Perform accident/injury investigations. Review safety documents. Attend various project meetings. Requirements: Education & Years of Experience – Bachelor’s Degree and 20+ years of relevant experience. Citizenship – To be considered, you must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work. Clearance – To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed. Experience with field oversight of work activities, facility oversight inspections and walk downs, working with management. Must be able to climb ladders/stairs, work in hot/cold environments, and operate a motor vehicle. Have knowledge of OSHA (29 CFR), EPA (40 CFR), and DOT (49 CFR) regulations and requirements.
