Senior Software Engineer

Job description

What you’ll do: - Be part of a dynamic scrum team to help resolve design and implementation challenges - Design, build, and maintain high-performance, cost-efficient software that support product creation and delivery processes - Make meaningful contributions to architecture and design, including leading design efforts and making technical trade-off decisions - Maintain and sustain the current software stack to reduce technical debt and continuously improve software and product quality - Solve complex engineering problems and unblock visible risks/roadblocks (e.g., refactoring portions of software, large migrations) - Provide insightful code reviews, take ownership of outcomes, and occasionally lead small project teams or project steps within a broader initiative - Contribute to process improvements and improve the way the team works (CI/CD quality, automation, testing, and engineering practices) What you’ll need: - Fluent spoken and written English - 3+ years of software engineering experience - Strong programming skills in Java, Python, and object-oriented design principles - Knowledge of SQL and Relational Databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL) - Experience building and operating se...
