Join our Downer Professional Services team and play a key role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia’s future. Downer Professional Services is comprised of two business units, our Technical, Advisory, and Capability consulting practice and Team Downer, a major service partner to Defence. Together, we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for our clients in Defence and National Security. We currently have an opportunity for a Systems Engineer – (DSS Level 4), based in ACT to work on NSSG Maritime Domain projects. What You’ll Do: This role offers a broad scope, with key role responsibilities including: Lead and govern systems engineering across multiple maritime acquisition programs Assure requirements, design, integration, test and acceptance activities Provide authoritative engineering advice to senior stakeholders Chair engineering working groups and manage technical risk Mentor and uplift APS and ADF engineering staff What You’ll Bring: Degree in Engineering recognised under the Washington Accord CPEng or eligibility highly regarded: 12+ years systems engineering experience in Defence or complex programs S...
