Job Description Summary The Manufacturing Engineer will primarily focus on the manufacturing processes within generator manufacturing. Responsible for departmental operations, ownership over methods, planning/execution of the generator product line and procurement of necessary tooling. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results. Job Description: Roles and Responsibilities: - Act as a manufacturing expert for Generator Winding in GE Vernova's Generator manufacturing operation in Schenectady NY. - Define and control production processes; including tooling and equipment to be used in the winding process. - Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment. - Troubleshoot issues with equipment and processes. - Work with the shop to develop manufacturing methods, schedules, and documentation for improvements. - Identify and execute projects to improve safety, quality, existing processes and lower cost within the shop. - Provide documentation and training to shop floor to ensure seamless new product or process execution. - Utilize in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking...
