Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $44,200 - Midpoint: $55,300 (Salaried E6) Department/Organization: 204241 - Music: Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm; some evenings & weekends as necessary Job Summary: The Event Coordinator oversees the implementation, execution, and follow-up for events hosted on- and off-campus. Creates invitations. Selects sites. Creates seating arrangements. Negotiates with florist, caterers, event space staff, print shops, etc. Manages on-site contract staff, students, and etc. Additional Department Summary: Supervision and coordination of all details related to the presentation of on-campus and off-campus musical events by the School of Music faculty, students, guests, and other special events sponsored by the School of Music. Additional responsibilities could include creating materials to be used in advertising, social media, direct mail, and other printed materials. Evening, nights and weekend work required.
