It enables scale, expertise and efficiency across the bank, while ensuring that our most important services remain available, recoverable and within acceptable levels of customer impact. At the same time, our growing reliance on third parties makes strong governance and effective control of outsourcing and third‑party arrangements essential. These arrangements must be managed in line with regulatory expectations such as the EBA Guidelines on Outsourcing and the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA). In parallel, ING is further embedding a resilience‑by‑design approach for its Critical Business Services (CBS).
