Epic Analyst Senior

Job description

Job Summary Responsible for responding to requests from users for new or modified systems. As a critical liaison between clinical and business operations, this role is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing Epic applications to improve patient care, streamline workflows, and ensure regulatory compliance. Consults with users to identify current operating procedures for single departmental changes, define system requirements, and determine programming and/or application functional requirements. Recommends and approves technical and procedural designs for new or revised applications, including system specifications and programming guidelines. Creates documentation to describe application changes for program development and corrections. Team members in this position are skilled, effective, and self-sufficient in working within a diverse technology portfolio, and regularly provide guidance and training to less experienced Epic Analysts.
