TSM Planner (Inventory-Buyer-Logistics)

Job description

JOB TITLE: TSM Planner SUMMARY: The TSM Planner is responsible in assisting in the logistics and planning of crucial accounts. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Manage consignment inventory stocking programs and will be responsible for the performance of the business at the assigned location. - Travel to customer locations to resolve any warehouse product issues as needed. - The person will be responsible for the effective management of tactical requirements per our agreement with the customer. - Manage inventory at customer location. (Management includes virtual cycle counting, replenishments, delivering, billing, and invoicing). - Review and recommend stocking level increases/decreases. - Proactively manage slow moving and inactive inventory. - Facilitate meetings with customers as required develop new business opportunities. - Work with customer engineering to develop new alternate sourcing opportunities for cost saving initiatives for customer. - Assist accounting department with TSM reconciliation questions or concerns. - Assist MSR-FSR Logistics department as needed. - Responsible for maintaining SIMI database active and up to date. - Compile all sites OTD reporting.
