Description Under minimum supervision, installs, maintains, and repairs mechanical equipment and tools in the Plant. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: - Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, control, and automation systems on all industrial machinery and/or equipment. - Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring schematics - Experience working with PLC troubleshooting - Test and repair motors, VFD’s, drives, sensors, relays, contactors and control circuits - Disassembles mechanical equipment and tools, repairs or replaces worn or broken parts, and reassembles. Adjusts parts of mechanical devices as needed. Inspects completed repairs. - Ability to find the root cause on any recurring electrical failures and implement corrective actions to prevent and limit down time. - Performs preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment and tools in accordance with established preventive maintenance program.
