Job Description The primary role of this position is to serve as the evening shift audio-visual technician for Classroom Audio Visual Services. Reporting to the Director of Classroom Audio Visual Services under the Office of the University Registrar, this person is responsible for providing support in the form of end user meetings, system testing, preventative maintenance, and AV system repair in spaces under the purview of Classroom Audio Visual Services including general assignment classrooms, departmental spaces, conference rooms, and boardrooms. This position requires a high level of technical knowledge in regards to audio, video, and control systems. The person in this position will be responsible for troubleshooting issues reported by end users or found during system testing and locate a solution in a timely manner. This position will provide assistance and support as needed for Classroom Audio Visual Services operations. The Evening Audio Visual Systems Technician will be responsible for managing work study students to help aid in their duties when applicable.
