Underwriting Assistant

Job description

The Underwriting Assistant supports the underwriting team in the evaluation, pricing, and issuance of commercial insurance programs. This role focuses on Workers’ Compensation, Commercial Auto, and General Liability, with exposure to loss-sensitive and loss-rated structures. ESSENTIAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 3–5 years of experience in commercial insurance, underwriting support, or rating. Experience with casualty lines (WC, Auto, GL) preferred. Familiarity with NCCI, WCIRB, and/or ISO (a plus). College degree not required.
