Description: - Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of property insurance applications in compliance with company guidelines, local regulations, and underwriting standards. - Analyze property values, construction details, occupancy, and exposure to hazards to determine appropriate coverage and pricing. - Review and evaluate risk improvement suggestions, loss control reports, and underwriting data to identify potential risks and recommend risk management strategies. - Review and negotiate policy terms and conditions with assistance from the manager when needed. - Manage a diverse portfolio of property insurance policies, ensuring effective risk selection, pricing adequacy, and profitability. - Monitor portfolio performance, identify emerging trends, and implement necessary adjustments to maintain desired loss ratios and financial targets. - Collaborate with claims teams to review and analyze claims data, identify patterns, and incorporate insights into underwriting decisions and risk management strategies. - Position requires domestic and international travel up to 30%. - Telecommuting permitted up to 70%.
