Job Title: Director, Sales Job Summary: The primary focus of this position will lead a team of account managers to attain annual goals and objectives. This will involve resolving commercial issues, attending key customer meetings and presentations, working with plants, and closing business through the contract stage in a team-selling environment. Responsibility: - Support, Foster, Promote and Demonstrate Linamar’s Core Values and Leadership Behaviors. - Maintain balance between customer, employee and financial satisfaction by maximizing facility/department Performance Indicators to align to Linamar’s Stepping Stool of Success Strategy. - Support and maintain department lean initiatives as set out in LPS system requirements. - Maintain department 5S requirements. - Determine the annual sales and gross profit plan by implementing sales strategies and analyzing trends and results in conjunction with the executive management team. - Forecast expected sales volume and profit for existing and new product lines and customers. - Develop and administer a sales plan that will ensure customer satisfaction, assigned quota attainment, and a highly skilled and motivated staff. - Develop an annua...
