Systems Architect

Job description

We are seeking a Systems Architect to support critical DoD initiatives. This position is 100% onsite at Rosslyn, VA and focuses on applying Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles while ensuring architectural consistency across complex defense ecosystems. Responsibilities: Lead the development of system architectures in alignment with enterprise objectives. Establish standardized guidelines for Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), digital twins, and digital threads integration. Apply best practices using frameworks such as DODAF and UAF to support architecture modeling. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain a cohesive system model. Utilize tools like Innoslate or similar modeling software to build out architecture documentation. Contribute technical insight and guidance to strategic planning efforts at the OSD- or Command-Level within DoD. Requirements: Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. 5–10 years of experience in systems architecture or systems engineering.
