Demand Forecaster Department: Operations & Supply Chain: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Oak Brook, IL: Compensation: $90,000 - $115,000 / year Description: ASC Engineered Solutions are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Demand Forecaster to join our Supply Chain team in the Pipe, Valves, and Fittings (PVF) sector. This role is critical in ensuring accurate demand planning, inventory optimization, and alignment between sales, procurement, and operations. The ideal candidate will have strong forecasting and data analysis skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to anticipate market trends that impact product demand. How You Will Help: - Develop, maintain, and improve demand forecasts for ASC’s product offering across multiple regions, customers, and product lines. - Responsible for optimizing the Blue Yonder forecast engine itself, including selection of forecast algorithms and tuning parameters. - Develop forecast scenarios to analyze impact of forecast changes on supply base: conversions, large industrial projects, sales promotions, new product launch, etc. - Collaborate with sales, supply chain, procurement, and operations teams to align forecasts with business obj...
