About the team At Zillow Group, our mission is to empower people to unlock life’s next chapter. The Data Platform Product team enables product, analytics, and AI teams to move faster by providing reliable, scalable, and governed platform infrastructure. The Orchestration team defines how data and capabilities are accessed and invoked across Zillow, spanning Graph, APIs, AI tools, and workflows. This includes MCP Gateway, the runtime layer that allows AI agents to securely invoke internal tools, and ZG Graph (GraphQL), the unified access layer for cross-domain data. The team also owns the broader orchestration layer that connects data, services, and AI systems into a consistent platform. Together, this team shapes how systems interact across Zillow, enabling consistent, governed, and scalable integration across product, analytics, and AI use cases. The MCP Gateway & Registry team operates the control plane for AI tool invocation across Zillow. As AI adoption accelerates, MCP ensures agents can securely discover, authenticate to, and invoke tools in a standardized way.
