Job Description General Summary: The Director, Talent Management is responsible for developing and executing Vertex’s enterprise strategy for People Manager Development and Team Effectiveness. This role partners closely with senior leaders, HR Business Partners, and Centers of Excellence to design scalable, data‑informed solutions that strengthen manager capability, improve team performance, and enable the organization to grow with impact. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Lead Enterprise People Manager Development Strategy Design, evolve, and execute an integrated People Manager Development strategy that supports managers across the lifecycle and aligned to Vertex’s business priorities and growth trajectory. Lead Team Effectiveness Strategy: Provide strategic oversight for team effectiveness initiatives, including the design and deployment of tools, assessments, and interventions that address team dynamics, stakeholder alignment, and performance challenges across the enterprise.
