Night (United States of America) Environmental Services Supervisor This professional will be responsible for assisting in the planning, directing, implementing, coordinating and improving the Environmental Services Department at Halifax Health. - Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree stongly preferred. - Supervision in the cleaning industry preferred. - Proven knowledge and training in supervision. - Experience in cleaning and floor care procedures preferred. - Ability to communicate effectively. - Thorough knowledge in all cleaning procedures. - Monitoring of established safety procedures. - Monitoring of established Infection Control Practices. - Ability to train oral and written instructions. - Ability to train Environmental Aides, Environmental Techs, Environmental Floor Care Techs, Specialists and Team Leaders according to their job description. - Supervises Environmental Aides, Environmental Techs, Floor Care Techs, Specialists and Team Leaders in the following functions: - Patient and Public Area Cleaning - Detail Cleaning - Preventative Maintenance - Trash Removal - Project Work - Floor Care - Terminal Cleaning - Bed Tracking - Bioquell - Round prior to the start o...
