Job description

Purpose of Position: Amalgamated Bank is seeking an Information Technology Asset & Configuration Manager who is responsible for leading the enterprise IT asset management (ITAM) and configuration management (CMDB) programs. This role ensures full lifecycle governance of hardware, software, and technology assets, while maintaining stability, regulatory compliance and financial optimization. Essential Job Functions: - Develop Policies, standards, procedures, and governance controls aligned to industry best practices (e.g. ISO19770). - Own the CMDB Governance, Data integrity, and configuration item (CI) lifecycle process. - Maintain accurate asset inventory and ownership assignments. - Lead end to end lifecycle management for IT hardware (HAM), and software (SAM). - Establish and enforce standardized onboarding processes for new applications and technologies. - Ensure accuracy and completeness of metadata captured in the CMDB (ownership, environment, dependencies, data sensitivity, etc.) - Oversee formal Offboarding and decommissioning process.
